THREE members of Bere Alston Trekker's recently took place in the Great North Run.

On what turned out to be another hot race day Pam, Mary and Dave took to the roads to complete the annual half marathon road race.   All three Bats had put in all the training but nothing can prepare athletes for the heat on the day however, all three achieved great times with a special well done to Mary.

This weekend will see Bat's taking part in the first Eden Project half marathon in Cornwall and following this training will start in earnest for next years London Marathon.
