TWO Bats (Bere Alston Trekkers) will be taking to the streets of London on April 17 to take part in the London Marathon.
The pair have spent all winter training and taking part in a number of races including the Bideford Half Marathon and the Grizzly as part of their preparation. Kathy Williams is running the marathon for the first time and is raising money for Devon Air Ambulance. Sponsor forms for Kathy are at both Abbey and Bere Alston doctor surgeries.
Dotty Allan is running her fourth London and hoping to achieve a personal best. Dotty is raising money for Tavistock Youth Cafe and sponsor forms are located at the Cafe.
