Plymouth Mount Wise U13s v Whitchurch U13s.

Whitchurch batted first and Josh Towl (16) supported Billy Barriball (105no) well. Barriball hit clean, to all parts of the ground, scoring his second 100 in the last two games. Josh Monger came in to hit some clean sixes, finishing not out, in a total of 183-3.

Mount Wise's reply, was stiffled by good bowling from Luke Cummins, Billy Barriball, Dom Monger, Dave Northey, Josh Towl and Christian Hodges, but only three wickets fell.

Mount Wise were, struggling to score runs, when the ball was given to Ben Hodge who with good accurate bowling achieved a remarkable feat, in six balls he got five wickets, including a hat-trick.

This included a great catch from Josh Towl for Hodge's first wicket, a lbw second ball, interupted by a dot ball third. The next ball he bowled the batsman, another lbw, and finally bowling the next batsman to complete his hat-trick.

Mount Wise finished on 79-8, a superb win for Whitchurch by 104 runs.
