FAMILIES in Okehampton are being invited to join some free activities being organised by Barnardo?s South West in conjunction with Okehampton Community Recreation Association over the half-term. The focus is on children aged up to five years old and the first session ?Hullabaloo? will include music, song, dance and instruments at the Black Drama Room at Okehampton College on Tuesday, October 23. from 10.15am to 11.15am. ?Totsy Turvy? will provide a soft play session to encourage movement, co-ordination and communication at the same venue at the same time on Thursday, October 25. Numbers are limited so booking is essential. Refreshments will be available at the end. A Barnardo?s spokesperson said: ?The focus will be on fun and creative activities for families, as well as providing the opportunity for informal consultation with families. ?We hope to see lots of people at all of these events.?
