A WEEKLY mobile banking service will be extending its visiting areas to rural communities in West Devon and East Cornwall starting this Monday. NatWest's mobile bank launch in Devon aims to provide a number of remote areas with direct access to face-to-face banking facilities. On Mondays, the mobile bank will be in Bere Alston Parish Hall car park (2pm-2.30pm), Calstock car park (3pm-3.30pm) and Gunnislake car park (3.45pm-4.15pm.) On Wednesdays the bank will be in Tavistock Road, Princetown (12.30pm- 1pm), Yelverton short stay car park (1.30pm - 2.15pm) and at the London Inn, Horrabridge (2.30pm -3pm.) Martin Bischoff, managing director of NatWest Retail Banking, said: 'Access to banking services is a major concern for those living in remote areas and we are committed to improving services for people in these communities. 'The new mobile bank in Devon will complement our strong traditional branch network .' Robin Taylor, NatWest's regional managing director for the South West, said: 'My team and I are thrilled that we are going to be able to extend the service we offer our customers. 'It's our aim to deliver outstanding service and this is one more way in which we will be able to do this.'
