DECEMBER is always the busiest month of the year for Hatherleigh Silver Band and this year is no exception with a host of carols and concerts to come. The programme begins on Sunday, December 3, with a carol service and auction for the blind at the Fountain Inn in North Tawton, from 8pm. On Monday, December 4, the band will be providing the musical accompaniment to the switching on of the Christmas lights in Hatherleigh Square from 7pm. A Christmas concert will be performed in Winkleigh Village Hall on Tuesday, December 5, from 8pm. Next Thursday, December 7, the band will be back in North Tawton, this time for a carol playing evening which starts at 7.30pm.
