BEING the oldest competitive swimmer at Kelly saw Caroline Ball make the long journey to Sheffield to take part in the National British Masters Championships.

This was Caroline's first pool competition after her open water season ended and it proved to be a worthwhile journey for her. She earned two national titles in the 50m and 100m backstroke, both with personal best times. They were followed by silver medals in the 200m backstroke, 200m intermediate and 100m breaststroke, all with personal bests and a bronze medal in 800m freestyle.

Caroline was absolutely delighted with her performances and hopes that this will be the start of a successful Masters journey.
