IT?was the decade of the New Romantics, shoulder pads and 'big hair' — and the 1980s were on show again at a hair and beauty salon in Tavistock last Friday.
Staff at Sisters Hair and Beauty in Market Street, Tavistock, donned retro outfits for an '80s-themed day at the salon to play their part in raising funds for Children in Need.

The team raised £116.90 from donations throughout the day, and expressed thanks to all the customers who supported them.

Children in Need fundraising events took place at a host of outlets in Tavistock.
Head shaves, cake-baking, spotty costumes and open air music were just some of the efforts made in town and village on behalf of the popular annual appeal.
