AFRICAN drummer and musician Ayodele Scott will give an African music workshop for MED Theatre?s High Plateau project on Saturday March 25 in Manaton Parish Hall, near Bovey Tracey, from 2-5pm. This is open to young people nine years and upwards free of charge, and to adults at a cost of £7. Rosalyn Maynard will give two dance workshops as part of the High Plateau project on Saturday, April 1, 10am-1pm and Sunday April 9, 2-5pm. These workshops are open to any young person aged 9-25, and are general training sessions. There is no charge. MED Theatre?s High Plateau project aims to make links between Dartmoor and the highlands of Africa. It has been funded by Arts Council England, Dartmoor National Park Authority and West Devon Borough Council.
