FIREMEN in West Devon and East Cornwall will be awash with enthusiasm for National Car Wash Day. Most stations will be participating in the day, on Saturday, September 16, which raises money for the Fire Service National Benevolent Fund. Among those taking part, Tavistock crew will be washing cars at Morrison?s all day, from 10am and Bere Alston will be at their fire station from 10am to 4pm providing the same service. Ask your local fire crew for details of more car wash venues.
