A NINE-year-old girl from Princetown won the award for the 'most improved musician' at the recent Tavistock Music Academy's Concert.

Jessica Jones from Princetown Primary School received the award on stage at Tavistock College from David Gray, the head of the academy.

Jessica plays both violin and guitar at the academy. She also plays piano, drums, recorder and ukulele at the primary school.
