TANIA Crosse, author of a novel based around popular West Devon tourist attraction Morwellham Quay, was in Tavistock?s Book Stop recently to sign copies of her saga.
?Morwellham?s Child? centres around the harbour-based Victorian history of the old mine site and was officially relaunched at its birthplace on the quay on August 6, but is enjoying its nationwide republication this month.
The novel was first published three years ago, with such success that it has been re-released by London based publishers Pan Macmillan along with its sequel ?Tavy?s Daughter?.
Tania, whose love of the West Country developed from family holidays in the area, said it was a visit to Morwellham Quay which inspired her to write her first book and discover her talent for the historical saga.
