OKEHAMPTON Carnival Committee have appealed for help after suffering at the hands of vandals. The coloufully decorated prince and princess float, was vandalised sometime between August 18 and last weekend while the float was being stored in preparation for the carnival on Saturday, October 15. Carnival chairman Stan Stormont said eveyone was saddened by the incident. He has appealed to local businesses and individuals to donate extra money to replace materials and adornments.
