TAVISTOCK author Tom Vowler is set to launch his latest novel this month and follow up his international success.

Tom Vowler, whose debut short story The Method won the Scott Prize in 2010 and the prestigious Edge Hill Readers' Prize in 2011, has now followed up with a literary thriller, 'What Lies Within.'

His publishers describe it as 'a tightly spun, atmospheric and powerful psychological suspense'.

Set on Dartmoor, Anna and her family have always been close to nature, surrounded by the haunting beauty of the moor. But when a convict escapes from nearby Dartmoor Prison, their isolation at their farmhouse home suddenly begins to feel more claustrophobic than free. Fearing for her children's safety, Anna's behaviour becomes increasingly irrational.

Mr Vowler is taking part in a 'meet the author' event at Tavistock's Book Stop on Saturday, April 27, starting at 10.30am and this will include a book signing.
