ASPIRING businesses from the creative sector are being urged to take advantage of newly available work units at Dartmoor's Duchy Square Centre for Creativity as it celebrates its first anniversary.

A number of resident artists at the centre have successfully used its marketing and business development support over the past year to raise the profile of their work and are now moving on to the next level.

It means that Integria— the creative consultancy that manages and operates the centre — has a number of workspace units available for rent for other fledgling businesses.

Tracy Hill, South West regional manager for Integria, said: 'Duchy Square isn't just about painters and sculptors.

'We are here to provide business incubation support for all types of businesses as long as they have a creative slant to their work,' said Tracy.

'Integria works extremely hard to give creative start-ups as much support and guidance as possible to help them fully capitalise on the kind of opportunities that will give their businesses the best possible chance of success.

'Over the last year, a number of our residents have made great strides in raising the profile and profitability of their ventures.'
