INTERNATIONALLY renowned artist Mikhail Karikis (pictured) visited Calstock Community Primary School last week, running a workshop as part of the build-up to 'It's All About the River' — a film festival organised by the River Tamar Project. Children aged 9 to 11 were recorded by Mikhail, who intends to use their voices to recreate the sounds of the storms last winter. Other workshops had children creating drawings and models, capturing how children imagine the landscape of the river in the future.
