THE play was mainly in the Crediton half and the away team had many chances; Ollie Crimmins made a great header which went in but was disallowed.
Argyle were rewarded after some great play up the field which ended with the ball being passed to Ben Bickle's feet which he tapped in for a 1-0 lead.
Ben had a great shot after but it was saved superbly by the Crediton goalkeeper.
Ryan Gross for Argyle put his name on the scoresheet when he got the ball and set himself on target to blast it in to the top right hand corner of the goal.
Player of the match Ben Barkwill, playing in the midfield for the first time, had a great game using his skill and energy and took many opportunities to have a shot at goal.
Argyle went into half-time leading 2-0 and in control.
At the start of the second half Argyle were awarded a penalty for handball but their shot went over the post. They had a free kick shortly after but this went wide.
Ollie Crimmins was as reliable as ever and scored a great goal from a long shot.
Argyle created numerous chances but didn't manage to add to their goal tally even when Tallan Burns made some good play to pass to Ryan who had an open goal but he tapped it past the side post.
Crediton had several freekicks throughout the game and Aaron Dearing made some superb saves to keep a clean sheet.
This was a deserved win by Argyle showing their team skills and commitment throughout.
