POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an incident involving two groups of girls on Goose Fair Day, Wednesday October 8.

A police spokesperson said a number of teenaged girls who had been in the fair were followed by a larger group of girls to Canal Road, where several assaults took place.

Anyone who saw this incident, which occurred between 6pm and 8pm, or who has any information, should contact PC Bone at Tavistock Police Station on 08452 777444 and quote crime reference JT/o8/1144 or JT/08/1143.
