TO commemorate the closure of the Princetown Railway in March 1956, South West Lakes Trust is looking for anyone who may have any photos, artefacts or personal memories of the railway in action for a one off, free public exhibition which will be taking place in the Burrator Discovery Centre on Sunday, March 6.
In addition, one of the trust’s volunteers will also be leading a short guided walk from 10am to 1pm along the old railway and the trust will also be launching its new railway self-guided walk leaflet.
If you would like to book on the walk, receive more information on the leaflet or have artefacts/photos you would be willing to loan the trust for the exhibition, call 01822 855700, email [email protected] or pop into the Discovery Centre.
