POLICE are appealing for information following a burglary from a garage in the Spring Hill area of Tavistock overnight on Sunday/Monday, October 13/14.

Thieves used a claw hammer to prise into the garage and stole an old and rare red Honda off-road 250cc motorcycle and a gold mini moto.

The thieves would have had to wheel the cycles away as they were unrideable.

Police said the cycles would probably have been dumped somewhere in the Tavistock area.

Anyone who has seen either of these bikes, or has information relating to this incident is asked to contact police on 101, quoting crime reference number JT/13/1401.
