Tavistock Girls met Activate again for another friendly.
This time Tavistock were up for the challenge and started strongly with attacks from Tamsin Bryant and Heidi Davies.
Sarah Barrett playing a midfield role covered everything and covered back with astonishing speed and accuracy. Louise Galway and Megan Blackmore were strong at the back as were Activate and although Tavistock had most of the possession the score was 0-0 at half time.
Tavistock kept the preasure up with Bryant's long throws upfield. Clarice Payne came close a number of times with long powerful shots but it was Robyn Hammond who slotted the ball neatly through to Davies who smashed in an accurate shot.
Despite some superb goalkeeping from stand in Captain and keeper Robynne Honey it took a bouncy shot on the hard ground to beat her.
Tavistock fought back and never gave up with Hammond and Barrett battling
away furiously.
Player of the match went to Sarah Barett.
