LEWDOWN YFC celebrated its 40th anniversary at Eagle House Hotel, Launceston on Friday, April 19.
Past chairmen, secretaries and treasurers were all invited and presented with carnation button holes.
A total of 180 people packed the hotel and sat down to a three-course meal. Guest speaker was James Morrish, a member of the Rural Stress Network.
The president Mike Crocker presented the girls' sports cup to Nickey Crocker; boys' sports cup to Will Power; the Devon County Fencing Trophy to Pete Badge, Charlie Martin and Peter Knight.
The member of the year cup went to club secretary, Alison Bellamy. She was also presented with a bouquet of flowers in appreciation for all the work she put into organising the event.
Wooden spoons were presented to Sarah Crocker and Peter Knight.
The club chairman Dave Chick gave his report and congratulated past and present members for raising an amazing £30,346 for charities in the past 21 years. He also thanked club leader Henry Bassett.
After the dinner the cake was cut by Sylvia Dopney, a past treasurer.
