Nick, who presents the Really Wild Show, was at a wind farm near Newquay where children were taking part in ?Catch the Wind? a creative challenge for 7-14-year-olds.
The British Wind Energy Association (BWEA) is asking children to capture what wind energy means to them in the form of a photograph, painting or drawing for a chance to win top prizes.
?We are looking for an image that expresses the power, beauty, excitement or sheer amazing nature of wind,? said Marcus Rand of the BWEA.
The competition is split into two categories, for children aged 7-10 and 11-14, and budding artists can enter by logging onto the website: http://www.catch-the-wind.com">www.catch-the-wind.com and downloading an entry form.
Winning entries will be selected by a celebrity judging panel and displayed in a one-off exhibition on wind power at the Science Museum plus on the website and prizes include windsurfing lessons and kite flying kits.
