A GRAVEYARD walk will be the main attraction at the 'Alternative Hallowe'en' in Gulworthy this weekend.

The Alternative Hallowe'en, to be held at Gulworthy Churchyard on Sunday at 4pm, is inviting everyone to join in with a graveyard discovery led by Peter Mawer, former Gulworthy headteacher, as he reveals stories of some of the occupants.

A short dusk service will be followed by soup, apple cake, cider or apple juice and carved pumpkin judging in the parish hall. People attending should wrap up warm and bring a lantern. There will be a collection for St Luke's Hospice.
