John and Rosalind Pugh who run Sampford Manor Alpacas in Sampford Spiney enjoyed success with their entries in the alpaca section.

The alpaca, a native to South American and bred for their fibre coat and meat, drew great attention at the show.

John said: 'We were  delighted to be awarded rosettes for champion black male Huacaya alpaca as well as for champion beige male Suri alpaca. We also received four first places and one second to make it a very successful show for us.'
