AN AFTERNOON of traditional family entertainment and fun is promised for Lydford summer fayre on July 23.

Starting at 12.30pm on the sports field there will be an art display by local artists, a barbecue and licensed bar and refreshments.

Various stalls include bric-a-brac, cakes, preserves and plants and side shows, including a National Trust stand.

Draw tickets will be on sale and there will be games for children and adults and a dog show run by the Margaret Green Foundation.
