A WOMAN who works at Morwellham Quay has chosen the setting for her wedding day. Tamsyn Flannery and Lee Moody will be celebrating their special day with a nautical theme when they marry on April 15 in full pirate costume. After a ?formal? wedding in jeans and t-shirts at Tavistock Register Office, the couple will put on their pirate costumes, made by Tamsyn, and at 3pm the Rev Greg Stanton will perform a wedding ceremony on the Garlandstone, the famous boat docked at Morwellham Quay. All 200 guests will be in pirate or seafaring costume and around 15 classic and working boats from racing boats to steamboats and luggers, will gather at the Quay to join in the couple?s celebrations. The boats will be arriving a few days before the 15th and will be there until the 17th. Tamsyn works at the quay and the couple met last September when Lee began restoring his beloved 1930s lugger Ibis at Morwellham. The couple plan to race the boat in France in July this year. Anyone visiting Morwellham on April 15 is welcome to watch the wedding ceremony.
