Ordulph continued their current good form as they overcame a spirited Western Morgage Service and exacted revenge for their opening day defeat to the same team.

Both teams battled hard from the start but Western went in front when Chay Henry was left unmarked and was able to plant a free header past Tom Pilbeam.

Ordulph were dealt a further blow when captain Paul Hoskin was taken off with an injury after a strong challenge and manager Mark Piper used this opportunity to change to a 4-4-2.

The Ordulph came out fighting the second half and were soon on level terms as James Aggiss pounced on a goalkeeping error.

The Ordulph continued to press and were close to going infront several times. The winning goal came after a piece of brilliance from Seb Krotke as he beat two men before teeing up James Aggiss who had the simplest of tap in for his second of the game.

The game continued to be competitive and the Ordulph midfield were superb. Western forced Ordulph keeper Tom Pilbeam into making two excellent saves towards the end as the Ordulph held on for three valuable points!

This week the Ordulph start there defence of the George Gillan trophy at home to United Services.
