THE?board of trustees of Age Concern in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly has decided to become a brand partner of Age UK.
The decision was made after an extensive consultation exercise, several surveys and discussions with members, staff and volunteers.
Tracey Roose, chief executive of Age Concern Cornwall, said: We will remain an independent charity with our own board of trustees, membership and services, and believe that partnering with Age UK will provide many opportunities.
'We will be able to ensure the views of Cornish residents form part of national influencing and campaigning, our helpline will form part of a national flagship service offering quality information to the over 50s and we will be able to increase our portfolio of trading products.'
