TAVISTOCK's record-breaking marathon runner, Adam Holland, is to see the runners off for Lamerton's first ever fun run on Sunday, June 5.
The open run will start at 1pm and a junior (age 8-12) fun run will leave at 1.15pm, both starting from the village hall under Adam's watchful eye.
The junior run will be of 1km and will go around the village hall field and then straight to Broady field.
The open run will be of 5.25km and will go out to Lower Chaddlehanger and back to Broady Field.
n Both events are open to all comers, at a fee of £3 for the open and £1 for juniors. Registration is at the village hall from noon onwards.
