BOB Grose, of the BBC programme DIY SOS will officially open RAPID UK?s fun day at the Fox and Hounds Hotel, Bridestowe, this Saturday, September 4.

Following the opening at 2pm, Bob will be on hand throughout the afternoon signing autographs and giving advice and tips on DIY problems.

Joining him will be Michael Newman of BBC?s Antiques Road Show and BBC Radio Devon?s Howard James with the radio car.

Other attractions at the family day out include a Pantomime Horse Steeplechase, a demonstration by the highly trained RAPID UK dogs, a sheep derby with some of the fastest sheep in the county being put through their paces over a range of jumps and circus skills with Hartland Youth Circus.

Live music in the afternoon will be provided by a band from Bude, and in the evening, Full Moon Revels will be the sound of the night.

The grand finale will be a fabulous firework display put on by Devon-based LockRow Pyrotechnics.
