THE National Trust's Cotehele House in East Cornwall may have its famous Christmas garland, made of thousands of dried flowers — but Buckland Abbey has a festive feature that has taken volunteers ten months to put together — a cascade! The 30ft cascade, pictured left, is made up of 400 stitched items which can be seen decorating the grand staircase at the abbey.
