NEW members are being invited to join a recently formed saxophone group in Tavistock.

The group 'Saxaphonics' meets every Tuesday between 7pm and 9pm at King's in Pixon Lane.

Players have to be of at least Grade 3 standard or equivalent playing experience and the minimum age, at the moment, is 17.

The instruments involved are soprano, alto, tenor and baritone. The music is varied and ranges from such things as 'The Pink Panther' and 'Baker Street' to 'In the Mood' and 'Londonderry Air.' Anyone interested in joining can phone Tony Smith on 01822 613234 or Larry Base on 01822 617657.
