A FASHION show organised by Mirrors Hairdressers of Yelverton last week to celebrate 25 years in business raised a massive £1,570 for the NSPCC. The show, at the Moorland Links Hotel, also involved other Yelverton businesses Beau fashion store and Clementine Lingerie and 50 local models. When Mirrors opened a quarter of a century ago it held a hair show and donated money raised to Cancer Research. Owner Anne Cross said she and her husband Clive wanted to repeat the event but this time it was much bigger raising a superb total for another worthwhile charity. Chairman of Plymouth and West Devon NSPCC Sam Doel said: 'A fantastic amount of money was raised and it was a wonderful evening that everyone enjoyed. 'The money will be spent on the NSPCC's work with children and families locally.'
