SAMPFORD Courtenay Flower Club will hold a Summer Serenade at its summer open meeting next month.

The club will welcome the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS) area demonstrator Vivienne Thompson to the meeting.

Tickets, £5, are available on the door and will include a glass of wine and strawberries and cream.

The meeting is on Monday, July 12 from 7pm until 7.30pm at Sampford Courtenay village hall.

The club also holds workshops for beginners. The next will be on Monday, September 20 from 10am until 2pm in the church room in Sampford Courtenay. The club meets on the second Monday of the month. For more details phone Jill Wilson on 01837 52035.
