MOLE?Avon presented the proceeds of the fashion show held in the store last October, to two charities.

Shown presenting the cheques are Andrew White, £3,500 to Toni Kemeny, of Devon Air Ambulance, and store manager Maria Cooper, £3,500 to Alison Ramsay, of CLIC?Sargent.

Also shown are staff members Emma Shaddick, Tracey Finnamore, Bob Cooke and Janet Midgeley.

Maria said the total amount raised for the two chosen charities had exceeded all expectations.

'We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who so generously supported us over the two evenings, helping to raise this fantastic sum of money,' she added.
