A TAVISTOCK slimmer has lost an incredible five-and-a-half stone to become champion at her local Slimming World class.
Sally Bryan is now on track to win £2,000 in a national competition to find the country's Greatest Loser.
Sally joined the Slimming World class in July last year.
She said: 'I'm so thrilled — I can still hardly believe it!
'I've had so many disastrous attempts at losing weight that I was beginning to think that I'd never do it.'
Sally said the secret of her success was being able to eat, not starve — and the support of the slimming class she attends every Thursday at the Royal British Legion Club in Tavistock was also important.
