ON Saturday September 10 in Tavistock Parish Church Brian Chapple gave a splendid piano recital. This event was part of a series organised to raise funds for the restoration of the organ in St Eustachius, Tavistock?s parish church. We were able to sample the delights of music from Bach and Beethoven to George Gershwin. Brian Chapple played exquisitely, bringing the spirit and style of the Last Night of the Proms to his listeners. Thanks to everyone involved for a real musical treat.
