MAY we, through your letters page, thank the traders who took the petitions for the release of the two Rapid UK dogs, Kelly and Emma, into quarantine with their owner/trainers.
May we also thank the people of Tavistock, visitors and all those who signed petitions in the shops, in the streets and in their workplaces.
The response has been tremendous. We have sent in 2,500 signatures, and there will be thousands more taken to Downing Street from all over the UK, and many from overseas.
Now we can only wait and hope that common sense will prevail.
