TAVISTOCK Air Cadet Ann-Louise Jones was presented with the 'Wilmer Memorial Trophy' for most improved musician during the National Air Cadet Band Camp at RAF Cranwell.
The band was selected from 50 Air Cadets from around the country and will perform in concerts at the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford and play in the Royal Airforce St Clement's Church in London later this year.
Ann-Louise is a clarinet player and is currently studying for her A-levels and a diploma in the clarinet at Plymouth College. Flt Lt Phil Newcombe said both the squadron and her parents were immensely proud of this fine achievement.
Ann-Louise wishes to join the RAF as a musician and this camp gave her first hand experience, working alongside the RAF Regiment band.
