A CONCERT at Tavistock Methodist Church has boosted the funds of the Meningitis Trust.
Tracy Harding and Deborah Bevan recently met Cathy Hill, South West community support worker for the Meningitis Trust, to present a cheque for £500 from the concert in September.
Along with Ilona Reese, Tracy and Deborah put on the concert, featuring songs from the shows, popular classics and Christian music as well as sharing Christian testimony.
Tracy's father contracted meningitis in 2011 and she wanted to raise money for the charity as it does so much to help survivors of the illness with its many long term effects.
The aims of the charity are to support individuals and families, provide life saving information, campaign and fundraise. Anyone wishing to find out more can visit http://www.meningitis-trust.org">www.meningitis-trust.org
