A MAN from Horrabridge has been appointed as national sales director for a former Tavistock supplier of rugby training equipment which is now run by 2003 World Cup winning England captain, Martin Johnson. Paul Harris was originally employed by Rhino Rugby for ten years. He elected to stay with the company as a consultant following its relocation from Tavistock to West London in 2006, in the wake of the management buy-in of the business led by Martin Johnson. Mr Harris said: 'I am very impressed by the energy and ambition of the new Rhino management and am delighted to be given the opportunity to play an expanded role within the organisation going ahead.' Rhino chief executive, Reg Clark, said: 'Paul has been a mainstay of Rhino for some years and has proved his ability to work within our new circumstances to the extent that we are happy to give him this new responsibility. 'We are sure he will step up to the challenge admirably.'
