HATHERLEIGH History Society is appealing for information on a fascinating photograph from 1930.

The black and white photograph has the heading 'Gamekeepers and Beaters November 1930', but there is no location given. The society thinks there is a strong possibility the photograph was taken on the Passaford or Strawbridge estates at Hatherleigh, or an estate in the area.

The group is appealing for people who may recognise a father, grandfather, relative or friend among the group of keepers and beaters to be used on their new website, which is being set up so people can access the group's many documents and photographs.
