I RECENTLY popped into the Crossways Inn on the way home with my wife.
At the bar was a young man, Andy Vallance, and his wife.
He had just made an attempt at a record of riding a bike from Land's End to John O' Groats.
Andy completed the ride in three and a half days — he actually entered Scotland before the end of the second day.
I for one would like to recognise this magnificent acheivement for a local lad, raising funds for the air ambulance.
