MORE than 300 performers took part in a marvellous Callington MayFest on Saturday.

Fore Street was the location for the procession, which included giant papier mache models, Morris dancers, town criers and children.

Both the Callington Community Gospel Choir and Callington Singers performed at St Mary’s Church, with Callington Town Band giving a rousing performance at the town hall. There was plenty of other entertainment at the methodist church, Bull’s Head Yard and Co-op store. Pictures by James Bird.
