HOLDERS of the national collection of water irises, Rowden Gardens at Brentor, will be hosting a special iris weekend for charity on June 9 and 10.

More than 100 different species and cultivars are displayed in the gardens where visitors will also find many unusual aquatic and herbaceous plants.

Entrance is £4 and there will be plants for sale.

The gardens will be open from 11am to 4pm.
