OKEHAMPTON mayor Maureen McDonald was the guest of honour at the Inspiration Church's Christmas play, 'The Grumpy Innkeeper's Unusual Day', last Sunday.

Held in the Charter Hall, the play told the traditional Christmas nativity story from the point of view of the innkeeper.

As well as enjoying the play, guests enjoyed a series of festive activities including decorating Christmas biscuits, making a chocolate manger, and making miniature stained glass windows.
