Despite the recent snap of cold weather, autumn still lingers at The Garden House in Buckland Monachorum where the Acer Glade seems determined to hang on to its glorious hues for as long as possible.

This coming weekend, November 8 and 9, the garden will waive the normal admission change and offer free entry to all visitors. The Fortescue Garden Trust, the charity which owns and administers the eight-acre garden, is hopeful local people who may not have visited previously will take the opportunity to come along to enjoy its delights.
