EVERYONE is welcome to come along and enjoy the sweet aroma of the St John the Baptist Flower Festival.

The Celebration of Saints event will be held in St John's Church, Hatherleigh, today (Thursday) until Saturday, July 10 from 10am until 5pm, and Sunday, July 11 from noon until 5pm.

Refreshments will be available in Old Schools on the Saturday afternoon and there will be an hour of light entertainment in the parish church at 6pm. There will also be a history society exhibition of local historical interest in Old Schools.

Administration is free, but donations are welcome.

Any funds will go towards the church buildings repair fund. The event ends on the Sunday at 6pm with songs of praise led by Sandra Collier in the parish church.
