EVERYONE is welcome to come along to Belstone's annual village fair this Sunday, July 11.

Visitors will be able to enjoy tea, cakes and a barbecue, as well as all the usual stalls, sideshows, attractions and plant stalls, including the popular maypole dancing by local children.

The event, which starts at 2pm, will also be host to the Belstone Youth Group Challenge, where youngsters up to the age of 18 compete for the Taikoo Cup.

This year's event – a Scavenger Challenge – requires imagination, speed and team work.

Entry costs £1 for a team of up to four. A list of items to scavenge and full instructions can be collected from children's stalls from 2pm.
